London Oral Health Limited currently provides Oral Health Care in England and Wales. London Oral Health provides both NHS and private dental care at its East London and South London branches.

The company is committed to providing high quality, patient focused dentistry in a clean, safe, professional and friendly environment. We believe that this environment should be available to all regardless of whether you are visiting an NHS or private practice.

Our staff are highly trained and continue to develop their skills whilst working with London Oral Health, to ensure our patients are getting the best possible care and treatment we can provide.

London Oral Health:

 

  • Works with PCTs to deliver high quality, innovative dental services, in line with the oral needs of the local population

  • Ensures its practices comply with “Better Standards for Health”, BDA Good Practice scheme guidelines and the NHS Clinical Governance Toolkit.

  • Operates a comprehensive Clinical Governance Framework entitled “Putting Patients First” and audits practices annually and all clinicians every 6 months.

  • Ensures all its practices have a continued commitment to NHS dentistry along with a sustained improvement in the quality of service, patient care and practice management.

  • Practices are equipped to a high standard with experienced staff and a strong management team. LOH is focused on delivering a consistently high standard of patient care.

  • Provides accessibility and timeliness of service to all patients seeking oral health care and ensures equity and consistency of provision

  • Delivers “mandatory services” that are appropriate, efficient and clinically cost effective.

 

In addition;

  • Develops services in line with the PCTs Dental Commissioning Plan and the Department of Health programme “Delivering Better Oral Health” and addresses inequalities in access to care and oral health experience

  • Provides high quality general dental services that meets the specific needs of diverse groups where appropriate

  • Establishes a positive working relationship with PCTs and providers to facilitate and maximise service delivery

  • Meets regularly with PCTs for contract monitoring

  • Has contingency arrangements in place at all its practices in the event of unplanned leave (eg sickness), equipment failure and major incidents

  • Ensures all its practices performance is measured and audited regularly through its own “in house” processes in addition to those required by the PCT

  • Is an NHS provider and PCTs can be assured of NHS commitment.
